Coming from NY I can honestly say the meats they have at Ellsworth is so much better. The steak can be torn apart with your hands and the chicken is very good. This is what steak and chicken are supposed to taste like. They have a large selection of meats, and I haven't had anything from there that I did not like. It's a different world. I highly recommend them, and the family that runs the shop are so nice and welcoming. They have a cool gift shop attached as well with home made soaps and candles, just incase you don't want to go with the horrible stuff they put in the big name brand stores on your skin. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. All in all, good people, good healthy food and worth the money.

What a great grocery store for all things Nebraska local. If you haven't tried smoked pork chops, you need to get some now. This is what a grocery store used to be...local farmers, growers, and makers bringing their products to market to sell. Fresh from the farm. If you're lucky, it is baking day, and the smell of cinnamon rolls is in the air.

Discovered this Gem when I was searching for a good source for beef bones and chicken feet to make bone broth-went to pick them up and discovered that they have soooo much more than meat! Lots of great locally sourced cheeses, milk, eggs, salad greens, flours, oats, honey, jerky, the list keeps going. The owner was super helpful and I enjoyed just browsing everything. Great local business that I hope prospers

Went today for the first time to pick up some ribeyes for the grill. Great place with great products. Also left with some of their baked beans and potato salad. I'll be back. I think it will be my go to place for meat besides what I get through hunting.

I am so happy that we found this place. The meat at the grocery store was starting to taste weird so we were searching for somewhere to get great quality meat since that is such a big part of our diet and Believe me when I tell you, you will have to look no further than Ellsworth. They have the best quality meat in Omaha and they are extremely friendly and helpful. So much variety and the best quality around. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.
