Piedmontese Beef Hanger Steak

Description

The fine texture and premium tenderness of the hanger steak roast makes it a favorite of beef lovers; in fact, it’s considered one of the most tender cut of beef available. Add the tenderness and taste of the Piedmontese breed, and you have a tenderloin that tops the charts in flavor, nutrition, and texture. The best part? It requires minimal prep, and it’s incredibly easy to carve. For added flavor and a caramelized exterior, sear the roast before transferring to a preheated oven. You can also slice it up for your own buttery tender, grill-ready filet mignon steaks. All Certified Piedmontese beef is verified all-natural and raised without hormones or antibiotics. 1 (32-ounce) roasts Each roast serves 4 to 6.
Piedmontese breed originated in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy, where it was first discovered over 100 years ago among the region’s robust history of fine wines and rich cuisines. Prized for its noticeably heavy musculature, the Piedmontese breed’s unique genetic makeup means these cattle naturally develop a significantly greater muscle mass compared to conventional cattle. At the same time, muscle fibers remain tender without the need for excess marbling. The result? Consistently superior beef that’s both lean and tender.

Best ever! I just received a package in the mail from Ellsworth Crossing. It included a variety of yummy meats! Everything from pork to bison to lamb to steaks. All of it was great. It's 105 here in Tucson and coming from Nebraska, I wondered how well it would do??? But it came perfectly packed on dry ice! No worries at all. It's worth the extra $ to have farm fresh, healthy meats delivered to your door!
Giving an exemplary shout out to the owners of this incredible store. When I walked in I was greeted by our new friend Amber who was excited to share the vision for the business and holistic mission of the brand. The meats were incredible, produce was fresh and not covered in what feels like wax, and the friendly service was best in class. Thank you for the wonderful visit, can't wait to see you all soon!
It's like a Farmer's Market in a store. A little bit of everything that is good for you. The owners are so friendly and helpful. Everything is local, sourced for good quality and healthy eating. This will be a regular shopping stop for us from now on. Highly recommend you come by to try. Awesome teas, coffee, beef, chicken, dairy, produce, snacks, and gifts too!! Don't miss out on this Gem!!!
What a great grocery store for all things Nebraska local. If you haven't tried smoked pork chops, you need to get some now. This is what a grocery store used to be...local farmers, growers, and makers bringing their products to market to sell. Fresh from the farm. If you're lucky, it is baking day, and the smell of cinnamon rolls is in the air.
A gem in the countryside. Imagine a grocery store with foods that were “back to the basics” and stuff sourced from nearby like it should be. If that’s what you need, whole good foods, then this is where you need to regularly shop. By local and support your community. Heck, even send some to your friends!
