The Ellsworth Difference
When you cook with ingredients from Ellsworth Crossing, you’re getting more than just food—you’re supporting a local, faith-based, veteran-owned business that values integrity and quality above all else. Our Plum Creek Chicken, raised right here in Burchard, Nebraska, exemplifies the difference small-scale farming makes.
Unlike the commercial operations you’ll find at big box stores, our chicken is hormone-free, nitrate-free, and raised with access to the outdoors, ensuring the humane treatment and superior taste we’re known for. It’s the reason top chefs in Omaha and Lincoln love Plum Creek Chicken—and why we’re so proud to bring it to your table.

Let’s dive into the recipe and create something special!
Easy Chicken Alfredo Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound Plum Creek boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12 tablespoons salted butter, divided
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1¼ cups heavy whipping cream
1½ cups whole milk
1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
16-ounce package of fettuccine
Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Start by cooking the fettuccine according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken
Heat 6 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on the outside and no longer pink in the center. Set aside and cut into strips or cubes.
Prepare the Sauce Base
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 6 tablespoons of butter. Stir in the minced garlic, garlic powder, and salt. Whisk until combined.
Create the Alfredo Sauce
Sprinkle the flour over the butter mixture, whisking as you go. Gradually add the heavy cream and milk, whisking continuously. Bring the sauce to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Add the Parmesan
Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine and Serve
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing it in the sauce to coat evenly. Top with the chicken, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
